I am fortunate to be able to travel a lot, so I am oftentimes asked what my favorite destination is. Considering I have been to St Barths 5 times in the last 5 years, I think that would have to be the answer! This French owned island in the Caribbean is just 5 square miles, but has so much to do. This island is very European and chic, with fabulous restaurants, excellent shopping, and jaw dropping beaches. Whether you are looking for a relaxing beach getaway or a lively atmosphere with beach bars and nightlife, this island really offers it all.
When you are in St Barths, you absolutely need to go into downtown Gustavia. It is a really nice town to walk around right on the marina. There is excellent shopping, the top designers as well as small boutiques. There is no shortage of incredible restaurants, including my favorites Bonito, Bagatelle, Isola, and Black Ginger.
Another must go spot is St Jean. It’s a smaller town than Gustavia, with just a few boutiques. A day at Nikki Beach is an absolute requirement when on the island. Order a bottle (or two!) of rose, enjoy sushi for lunch, and fun music that oftentimes becomes one big dance party! Dinner at the neighboring On The Rocks at Eden Rock is an excellent dining experience as well.

Luxe Tip: Charter a boat for an afternoon and take a trip all around the island. Stop to swim and jump off the rocks at Shell Beach. The scenery around the island is stunning! It will definitely be an afternoon to remember!
Hotel: Check into the newly remodeled Le Toiny St Barths. This chic hotel has just 15 suites, all with private pools. They have a new beach club area on the water, an incredible restaurant, and lots of privacy. Then you can easily drive to other beaches and towns on the island.
