Finding a brunch spot with duck fat potatoes is like finding a needle in the haystack. A rare dish for LA foodies but once you peruse the Ledlow menus, you’ll find other jackpots. For Brunch, you have to order the creamy grits with pickled beet greens, toasted seeds and parmesan. Not decadent enough, then order the Brioche Toast with a fried egg, bacon and fontina. Or feeling healthy, then Avocado cream cheese toast on sprouted rye bread with olive oil and sea salt. But not a brunch goer, then hop over after sun down to have Spicy Fried Chicken (Mondays only) with Anson Mills buttermilk cornbread and basil honey butter. Or order the house special Meatballs and buttered pasta with basil, parmesan and tomato sauce. And they call Happy Hour not at 5:00 PM, cause who really leaves work at 5 anyways. Happy Hour is Monday to Friday 10 p.m. to close. Cheers!
