As I walked in for the first time I couldn’t help but wonder about the unbelievable amount of time and effort that must have gone into this place. I was pulled in by a green malachite box that was screaming my name! One could spend hours in here and not see the same thing twice. Artist signed abstract paintings, water color art, uniquely intricate magazine holders, ceramic vases, ornate chandeliers; the list goes on and on. And to top it all off I found myself right in the middle of their resident artists’ studio!
Located in Newport Beach’s Cannery Village, 503 Found is an energizing and dynamic interior design boutique. Kim Rodosky and Kim Johnson are co-owners of this innovative shop, and they pride themselves on finding pieces that are both well made and full of passion. They regularly travel all around the world to hand select their ever changing and eclectic inventory of everything from furniture and wall decor to handmade bags! Then they mix these finds with the work of local artists such as Marcel Lynth, Liz Jonas, Alex Marshall, Stephanie Godbey, Janet Bludau, and Josette Patterson and sprinkle on a touch of their whimsical but functional design and you end up with an artfully personal look and feel. To experience the impact you really must stop in and see for yourself!
